The Abbey Lakes Hotel itself is now run by Ann-Marie and David who endeavour to provide good beer, good food and clean, pleasing surroundings. There is a large beer garden with a play area for children. The warmer weather will find the beer garden wafted over by the smell of barbequed food to tickle the pallet. This will supplement the good home cooked food prepared in the pubs kitchen.

Every Saturday, live music can be listened to, supplied by mainly local musicians. Other entertainment is provided on some other days of the week. Who knows but one day you may be able to say you saw a band at the Lakes who are now top of the charts.

Abbey Lakes supplies a range of beers, lagers and wines including the re-introduction of cask ales. The cask ales are rotated to provide a varied choice over a period of time.
